Everyone writes on how to be successful, but they always stick to the side where you have to be an entrepreneur to do it. We think that anyone can do it, in any field of life. Being an entrepreneur does not have one definition, so here are 4 steps on being successful:
Find what you love to do: This is the first step to anything you should do in life to find success, go through your hobbies, interests and find something that your really are in love with and cannot live without. This is so important and essential because if you do not pick it, your life might not be as great as you want it to be and will complain everyday. This step may be harder for others and easier for some. But, do not stress over it, the internet is showing us all these successful people and setting the bar too high, do not worry about that yet, sometimes you will find that when you are 40 and still make it big. Just make sure that you always have it in mind.
Be an Entrepreneur: Now, being an entrepreneur does not mean you have to make a start up or look for investment, this is too mainstream. The first step will already help you here. If you love what you do, you will find a way to have fun doing it and be creative about it. Desk jobs are not as boring as long as you love them. People are different and it is okay to love doing different things than working in Wall Street. But, it is very important to find a way where you do something different than others to be successful in what you do.
Find your anchor: if you choose to be a footballer for example, then you have to do your research and see what your competitors do. This allows you to do what they do not do. So, showing up one hour earlier to training will add more to your skill and experience than what they get. If they show up one hour early then you show up two hours earlier. It does not have to be showing up earlier, but it can be anything you find that will give you that advantage over your competitors.
Never think it gets easy: A lot of people have a misconception that once you have made it, that it starts getting easy. Again, I have to remind you that making it does not mean that you are a multi-millionaire living a lavish life. You can be the successful you set to be. So, even if you want to become a policeman, your creativity and hardwork are your anchors to becoming great at doing what you love best.
The aim of this article is to let you know that success is way beyond money and entrepreneurship, it is about personal belief, challenging one’s self and working hard to be the best version of yourself.
