  • El Faro disappeared: an 800 foot ship
    The Atlantic reports that a cargo ship sank in the Atlantic Ocean on Thursday, October 1st. The ship apparently was heading towards Hurricane Joaquin. All 33 people aboard the giant are missing.
  • The US “Accidentally” Launched an Airstrike against Afghan civilians
    The Afghan forces needed backup to eliminate the Taliban forces, the US government were fast to respond but instead of targeting Taliban, they dropped bombs on Doctors without Borders Hospital which killed 12 Medical staff and 10 patients including children. The US government offered their deepest condolences.

  • The first Chinese to win a Nobel Prize for medicine
    Youyou Tu, was only 39 when she was tasked by Mao Zedong, the former Chinese leader to eradicate Malaria in the midst of the cultural revolution. So, Youyou Tu is the reason behind much lower mortality rates from Malaria in Asia and Africa.

  • Syrian Rebels Reunite To Get Back At Russia
    There are 40+ rebel groups dispatched in Syria that thought they were very close to destroy Al-Assad’s regime until the Syrian leader asked for help from the Russians. So, could this at least mean that the rebels will stop disagreeing with each other and focus on a better Syria?
